Ujima
Ujima is the third principle of Kwanza meaning “collective work and responsibility”. The idea is “…to build and maintain our community, and make our sisters’ and brothers’ problems our problems, and solve them together.”
Ujima reflects the values that CCG holds dearly and sparked the idea to have an annual event that focuses on providing free resources to the community.
Ujima events have provided the Los Angeles community an opportunity to unite, connect, and celebrate together.
